She also tagged the official account of the Ministry of Healthy Malaysia, as the restaurant allegedly didn't offer any apologies or compensation following her complaint. According to Berita Harian, the health ministry's food safety and quality division conducted an inspection of AFT Station in response to the viral uproar. Officials reported that the premises had failed to meet food safety standards, leading to an immediate 14-day closure order. Two compound notices were also issued for the violations. In a follow-up post, the woman described how she had already consumed about a quarter of the drink before noticing something strange at the bottom of the glass. 'I stirred it again, and that's when I saw it,' she recalled. 'It looked exactly like an asam boi — until it floated to the top. I was speechless.' A photo shared alongside the video revealed the unexpected 'ingredient' in detail, prompting a flood of shocked, sympathetic, and occasionally queasy reactions in the comments section. A woman claimed she drank about a quarter of her drink before noticing 'something strange' at the bottom. PETALING JAYA : A restaurant in Sendayan, Negeri Sembilan, was ordered to close for 14 days after it allegedly served a woman an asam boi drink which had a small frog in it. The health ministry's food safety and quality division inspected the restaurant last Friday and found that it failed to meet food safety standards, Berita Harian reported. The restaurant at Jalan Pusat Dagangan Sendayan 3 was also issued two compound notices. In a video that went viral on TikTok, a woman said she drank about a quarter of her drink before noticing 'something strange' at the bottom. 'I stirred the drink… and that's when I saw the frog. It looked just like an asam boi. I was speechless,' she said in the video caption. Checks by Berita Harian found that the video received around 2.1 million views, over 56,000 likes, and more than 4,000 comments.
